The recipe I am looking at is: Remington HullDec 18, 2019 · A change in hulls or wads makes a huge difference. I've tried some of the published loads but didn't have great results. Finally tried Rem plastic hulls (STS), SP20 wads and longshot. Perfect everytime now. Note: I liked the 1oz wads but if you have trouble and need more room in the hull, you may have to use 7/8 oz load.

Yep, you get some unburnt residue in the barrel, but I'm not using max loads, and I figure that it all blows out with the next shot anyhow.Both are right off the Aliant listed loads. The Remington Shur-Shot may be loaded with STS/Gun Club/Unibody data. Probably the single most useful 20 gauge wad for SW hulls is the SG-20M/GU2021 from Ballistic Products. I have used these in every SW hull as well as Remington, and they are outstanding in the Federal hulls.
